Cookie Policy
Last updated: April 20, 2026 · Effective: April 20, 2026This Cookie Policy explains how FlyPic uses cookies and similar technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage, pixels, SDKs) on flypic.ai. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They let a site remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how its features are used. “First-party” cookies are set by flypic.ai; “third-party” cookies are set by other services we embed.
2. Categories we use
| Category | Purpose | Examples | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Authentication, session management, security, load balancing, fraud prevention. These are required and cannot be disabled. | __clerk_*, __session, csrf_token, flypic_consent | Session – 1 year |
| Preferences | Remember theme, locale, dismissed tips, last-used generation model. | flypic_theme, flypic_locale, flypic_walkthrough | 1 year |
| Analytics | Aggregate product usage so we can improve features. We use cookieless or first-party analytics where possible. | ph_* (PostHog), _pl_* (Plausible) | 30 days – 1 year |
| Marketing | Measure campaign performance on third-party platforms. Only set with your consent. | _fbp, _ttp, _gcl_au | Up to 13 months |
3. Your choices
When you first visit FlyPic, a consent banner lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or customize per category. You can change your choice at any time below, or by clicking “Cookie settings” in the footer. Your preference is stored in the flypic_consent cookie for one year.
4. Browser controls
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in or completing a purchase. See: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
5. Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. When we detect GPC or a DNT header from your browser, we treat it as an opt-out of analytics and marketing cookies for that session.
6. Changes
We'll update this page when we add or remove tracking technologies. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change.
